When considering whether to sell a home or not, the time factor is often a big one. If you are living in your home while it is actively for sale, the inconvenience of having strangers track through your home at unpredictable times can become an increasing annoyance.
Looking just at a three-month-period, about one in four homes that were listed for sale actually sold during that time period. The greatest sales volume was in the price range of $300,000 – $399,000 with 39 of the homes in this category selling.
Selling a home under $400,000 could mean that you might have less of a wait to sell.
The left axis on the chart is a count of the number of homes, i.e., less than 10 homes sold under $300,000 during the past three months. A total of about 24% of all the listed homes sold during the period.
