Moving Link

Getting ready to move?

Undoubtedly it’s a stressful situation for anyone, and most likely you have many questions, like…

  • How do I find a good mover?
  • Do I really need a mover?
  • Do I need to make a deposit on my move?
  • How many estimates should I get?
  • What are my storage options?
  • How can I reduce the cost?
  • How do I handle any problems with the moving company?

The Puget Sound company Moving Link was formed in 1997 to assist busy people with a move. The nifty thing about this service is that Moving Link works for their clients, not for the moving companies. Their consulting services are free to you, the client.

How it works

Moving Link is paid by the moving company: in other words, if you call a company and request a sales person to come to your home and give you an estimate, the sales person is paid by the moving company. Moving Link is  paid by the moving company you choose to work with. They have carefully analyzed companies and claim to only work with the best. And it’s your choice whom you wish to work with based on several bids. Best of all they will handle any complaints or issues with the mover should a problem arise.

What do they do?

  • Before you move
  • ‘Green’ packing
  • Sorting: keep, throw or sell?
  • Trash removal/donations
  • On-site move management
  • Unpacking
  • Senior services
  • Residence cleaning
  • And more…

Lastly, they have monthly promotions with different movers – so do inquire about them!
