’50 Shades of Grey’ condo sells in snap

Sarah Jullion Real EstateThe downtown Seattle penthouse condo that inspired the erotic “Fifty Shades” series trilogy was on the market only a day before it sold.

The list price was $8.8 million. The buyer is local.

Public records list the current owners of the 30th floor residence as Diamond Parking Service Chairman and CEO Joel Diamond and his wife Julie, and they’re selling the 5,170-square-foot home because they’re downsizing. Records show the Diamonds bought the condo in 2010 for $5.95 million.
